Everyone rolls the dice together

The Dicey Cafe started the way most good things do — a home kitchen, a shelf of bottles, and friends who kept coming back for another round. What began as recipes scrawled on index cards became a menu, and the menu eventually needed a room of its own.

We kept the feel of that kitchen. The lights are low, the wood is worn smooth, and the drinks are still made the way they were at home: generous, honest, and a little unfussy. Nothing here is trying to be clever for its own sake.

The name is a nod to the house rule — pull up a stool, put your name in, and take your chances on whatever the bartender is excited about that night. Most nights, the roll goes your way.
